Where did you go, and what inspired the trip?

For my husband’s birthday, his parents had the idea to take us to the Bahamas. The boys played in a Pro-Am golf tournament while we walked the beautiful course, taking in the incredible ocean views.

Where did you stay, and what did you love about it?

We stayed at the fabulous Atlantis hotel and loved the resort's layout—there was so much to do without ever leaving the property. We got to see gorgeous dolphins, admire the crystal-clear blue water, and dine at incredible restaurants.

What were the trip highlights? 

One of the best experiences was taking a boat trip to snorkel around stunning reefs in the clearest water. Another highlight was an evening swim in the crystal blue waves as the sun set over the ocean—pure magic.

Anything else you'd like to share about this destination?

The Bahamas were the perfect escape from the cold winter temps! It was such a treat to wear breezy dresses and soak up the sun in paradise. I highly recommend this trip for anyone at any age, especially as a winter getaway!
